This is a wonderful
little book about the ways that parents can respond to the personality
of each child. It points up the challenge we face as parents to be the
particular kind of parent that each of our children needs -- not simply
to take a one-size-fits-all approach. It describes 9 types of children
and how to raise them successfully. Elizabeth Wagele writes with a fresh
style and uses cartoons that make the simple truths she provides come alive.
True confession here:
this book doesn't address the peculiar challenges divorcing parents face.
Because it appears useful to all parents, however, I decided to
include a reference to it.
