No, you're not the only one without a life.  I don't have much of a life outside work.  I've found the comfort of my home to be my "safe" place... the place where I spend all my time. I'm so terrified of being rejected or making another mistake that I avoid any opportunities. Each time I feel like I could be ready to put myself out there, I'm reminded of the mistakes I've made and don't think I measure up.

I'm not miserable. I'm pretty content. Happy? Pretty much. Ecstatic? Is anyone?  One thing I do know is that the peace I have in my life is something I would never give up for any relationship.
