Midnight here and I am packed and ready to leave tomorrow for my 5 weeks in the Amazon. I am finally getting a chance to get nervous about it! I hope good things come your way, everyone, and I will check in and say hello if I survive the chiggers. And snakes. Shocked

Also... no ice (obvious, but oftern forgotten!) and don't use straws. Even if they're sealed. They are often reused - after being rinsed in local water. I discovered this the hard way in Egypt...
