A California judge has ruled unconstitutional a new statute that allowed entire divorce cases to be sealed and thus unavailable to the public. Here’s the story from the Los Angeles Business Journal. In the ruling, Superiof Court Judge Roy Paul called the statute “overbroad.” It would have allowed an entire case file to be sealed even if it contained only one line of sensitive information.
